WCOOP and FTOPS

The two big online poker series are around the corner. A time for wannabe online poker pros to dream of a big score and time for online cash game pros to figure out if they're going to play the tournaments for fun or grind for profit. The satellites will be hopping between now and the main events so get out there and get started.

FTP's FTOPS starts on 8/5 and runs through 8/16. The schedule can be found on the FTP's site. The buy-ins range from $109 to $2,500 and have guarantees from $100K to $2.5M.

The PokerStars WCOOP event starts in September. The schedule can be found on Star's site. The events start on 9/3 and run through 9/20-9/21 (two day event) and the buy-ins range from $109 to $10,300 and have prize pool guarantees from $50K to $10M. There are only five of those events that start at 20:00 ET. That kills any hope for filling the rest of those tournaments with dead money working professionals.
